Here is the GIVE-AWAY!!!!

OK, I bought these iron-ons at Michael's Craft Store, and I used Coconut to put on a shirt I made.  Now, this shirt is for my daughter.

My daughter likes to wear her T-shirts long, so I made her doll's T-shirt long.  The hem on the bottom is called a lettuce-hem.  It's suppose to look ruffly like lettuce!

This is what it looks like on Rebecca.

But, I really like it with this cute jacket over it.  It gives it a layered look!  Too cute!

I have 2 iron-ons left.  So, the give-away is another t-shirt, and you can choose either the dog, Honey, or the cat, Ginger.

HOW TO ENTER:

Comment on your favorite thing to do in the winter.  I will take all the comments and put them in a hat, and then just draw one out.   Make sure you have your parent's permission because the winner will have to give me their address to send the shirt to.  Deadline is Sat., Jan. 22nd 12:00 midnight.

My favorite thing to do in the winter is hoping and praying for snow (we don't get it too much in North Carolina where we live), and then meeting all the neighbors outside and playing in it!!  We had a white Christmas this year, and we played so hard in the snow, and laughed so hard that we didn't even feel cold anymore.  It was so much fun!!!!!

My daughter is the one in the sky-blue jacket in these photos.   My son is being burried in the top photo, and both my children are playing with the neighbors in the bottom picture.

I think that sewing is one of the BEST things to learn, because then you can create lots and lots of clothes, purses, bags etc. For your dolls!

  11. Emma: I'm so sorry it didn't snow where you are. I grew up in Florida, and I saw snow for the first time when I was 17 years old when it snow-flurried at my school. All the kids went crazy, and the teachers had a hard time controlling everyone. Now, I see a lot of it. It is pretty, and I think it's neat how God turns rain into snow. I believe He does things like that purely for our enjoyment.

  12. I like to do crafts during the winter (sewing, papercrafts, etc.) especially with winter themes, like Christmas ornaments. I also like to bake cookies with my mom right before Christmas and, since I live in Florida, wish for snow!

  13. My favourite thing to do in the winter is make snowball ice cream. You ad a little bit of milk and vanilla to clean snow. IT'S SO YUMMY!

Also right now I'm healing from surgery and I'm really enjoying knitting winter gear such as scarves and earmuff headbands.
